The fundamental principle of QuickTools.one is simple: your files are your business, not ours. All file processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. We have no servers that process, store, or have access to your files.

Let's start with the most important part:

• Your Files: We never receive, process, store, or have any access to files you work with on QuickTools.one.
• File Metadata: We don't collect file names, file sizes, file types, or any information about the files you process.
• Personal Information: We don't collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information.
• Account Data: We don't require accounts, so we don't collect usernames, passwords, or any account-related data.
• User Content: We don't store any content you create, modify, or generate using our tools.
• Third-Party Tracking: We don't use advertising cookies, social media pixels, or third-party tracking scripts.

We collect minimal, anonymous analytics to understand how our service is being used and to improve it:

Firebase Analytics (Visit Tracking Only)

We use Google Firebase Analytics to track basic usage patterns. This includes:

• Page Views: Which pages and tools you visit
• Session Duration: How long you spend on the site
• Approximate Location: Country and city (derived from IP address, but IP addresses are not stored)
• Device Information: Browser type, device type (mobile/desktop), screen resolution, and operating system
• Referrer: Which website referred you to QuickTools.one

We use this data solely to understand which tools are most popular, identify technical issues, and improve the user experience.

Understanding how our tools work is key to understanding our privacy approach:

1. When you select a file, your browser reads it into its local memory using the File API.
2. Our JavaScript code (which runs entirely in your browser) processes the file using libraries like pdf-lib for PDFs or Canvas APIs for images.
3. The processed result is generated in your browser's memory.
4. You download the result directly from your browser to your device.

At no point do your files leave your device. Our servers only deliver the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code that makes the tools work. They never receive or process your files.

You can verify this by opening your browser's Developer Tools (Network tab) and observing that no files are uploaded while using our tools.

We use minimal browser storage:

• Firebase Analytics Cookies: Firebase sets a few cookies to track anonymous analytics sessions. These cookies do not contain personal information.
• Preferences (Optional): We may use localStorage to remember your preferences (like theme choice) to improve your experience. This data never leaves your device.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Since we don't collect your files or personal information, there's nothing to share with third parties.

The only third-party service we use is:

• Google Firebase Analytics: For anonymous usage analytics as described above. Firebase is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any data to third parties. Ever.

Because we collect so little data, most privacy concerns simply don't apply to QuickTools.one. However:

• Control Your Files: Your files never leave your device, so you have complete control over them at all times.
• Block Analytics: You can use browser extensions like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger to block Firebase Analytics if you prefer. Our tools will continue to work normally.
• Clear Cookies: You can clear Firebase cookies at any time through your browser settings.
• Use Incognito/Private Mode: Our tools work perfectly in private browsing mode with no persistent tracking.

The best security is not needing security. Since your files are processed entirely in your browser and never sent to our servers:

• There's no risk of data breaches affecting your files
• No risk of unauthorized access to your files on our servers
• No risk of your files being intercepted during transmission

We use HTTPS to encrypt the delivery of our website code to your browser, but remember: your files never make the reverse journey back to us.

QuickTools.one does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since we don't collect personal information from anyone, our service is safe for users of all ages.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

We will never change our fundamental principle: your files stay on your device and are processed locally in your browser.
